Each of us has so much going on at this time of year – from the holidays, to our families and even the year-end scramble for many at work to wrap-up the ever important fiscal year. In the midst of all this activity, I want to take a moment to relay this very simple but heartfelt message:
Thank You
Thank you to all of our members – from those of you who have honored us by selecting Greater Iowa Credit Union to serve your financial needs – to each of our member employees, volunteer Board of Directors and business service providers. Without you, all of the hectic but wonderful activity I mentioned above would simply not exist.
And it has been an exceptionally wonderful year to be thankful for. Your credit union – and, as members, it is yours, something I can’t stress enough – continues its prudent financial decision-making to ensure you get the utmost return for your hard-earned dollar through the best possible rates and minimized fees; striving to give you value at every turn. With your great member feedback and input, we’ve also made tremendous strides in continually adapting our products and services to better fit your needs. In addition, our community support and involvement are at all-time highs.
These three achievements over the past year truly demonstrate that the co-op model of ‘people helping people’ is a very powerful one and certainly very alive and strong at GICU. We want to ensure the sense of belonging you feel with Greater Iowa will always make good fiscal sense, too.
It’s true a simple ‘thank you’ is not nearly enough to express the total sense of gratitude we feel at Greater Iowa. To truly demonstrate our thanks, we must always strive to do more to continually earn your membership.
We wish you the best – and look forward to serving you – in the New Year.
