After much anticipation, this holiday season we are excited to announce our Ankeny location will be open for business starting on Monday, December 14th!
Our new branch will be located at 1700 SE Delaware Ave across from Kohl's Plaza. We’re excited to expand our GICU roots in the community, and bring greater rates, greater options and greater service to Ankeny!

GICU is a federally insured, state-chartered community credit union with eight current branch locations in Ames, Des Moines, Waukee, Denison and Indianola and now expanding to Ankeny.
The GICU story began with just nine people in June of 1932. Over the years, we have grown exponentially from our humble beginning of working out of the Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds office on Iowa State University’s campus. Today, we serve 33,000+ members throughout a 33-county area in Central and Western Iowa with a staff base of over one hundred.

We are passionate about providing exceptional service and take time to get to know our members individually to ensure we find the best products and services to meet their needs.

While the pandemic will limit our abilities to host a grand opening event, we plan to make the most of what we are able to do safely in our current environment.
